In kārmāravī, niṣāda, ṛṣabha, pañcama and dhaivata become the ainśas.

Many (svaras) are said to be non-amsas on account of antara-marga.
Gāndhāra is excessively abundant. There is concert among all the aṁśa
svaras.

Caccatpuța (is the tāla), there are sixteen kalās. The mūrchanā beginning
with şadja obtains. The application is (prescribed) in the dhruvā of the fifth
act.

Pañcama is the nyāsa in this (jāti). The amsás themselves are apanyāsas.
