पञ्चविंशतिकस्थाने चतुरङ्ग उदाहतः6
जयवर्धनसंज?्ञश्च ततः परतरो भवेत्1 ॥३६९॥
सप्तविंशति[त]मा सा स्यादङ्कचारिणिका मता7
[अष्टाविंशतिसङ्खयस्तु सिंहविक्रान्तकः स्मृतः8 ॥३७०॥
कनत्रिंशत्तमो ज?्ञेयः कलहंसाभिधो बुधैः14
घटस्त्रिंशश्चक्रवाल9 एकत्रिंशत्तमो मतः10 ॥३७१॥]
द्वात्रिंशत्तमस्थाने [स्यात्] त्रिपदी11 षट्पदी क्वचित्।
•तिम् त्रयस्त्रिंशत्तमं प्रोक्तं तद्बन्धकरणं पुनः15 ॥३७२॥ (तं ? तद्)
चतुस्त्रिंशत्तमं पाटकरणं समुदाहृतम्12
पञ्चत्रिंशत्तमः प्रोक्तः कैवाट इति तद्विदै13 ॥३७३॥
षट्त्रिंशत्तमसङ्ख्या तु द्विपदीति सता मता ।
॰संज?्ञस्त् सप्तित्रंशत्तमा या तु मुनिना वर्तनी मता ॥३७४॥
अष्टत्रिंशत्तमा त्वेला बहुभेदप्रविस्तरा ।
चत्वारिशस्त्वथैकोनो मतो झोम्बडकस्तथा ॥३७५॥ ॰शदथैकोना(?) झोंब(न्घ?ह)
चत्वारिशत्तमा ज?्ञेया ततोऽथ ध्वनिकुट्टनी
न्तो एकाधिका भवेड्ढेङ्की द्व्यधिका चैकतालिका ॥३७६॥ द्वयथेका
अत्रैव त्र्यधिकः ख्यातः प्रबन्धो मातृकाह्वयः ।
एतेपामधिकः चतुर्भिरिध[कस्तत्र]चत्वारिशत्तमः पुनः ॥३७७॥
English — Sharma (translation)
The twenty-second is said to be śukacańcu3, the twenty-third is vicitra4 and the twenty-fourth is tribhangika5.

Caturanga has been placed on the twenty-fifth position6, after that is the one named jayavardhana1.

That ankacāriņī is known to be the twenty-seventh7, simhavikrāntaka is known to be numbered twenty-eighth8.

The one named kalahamsa should be known by the wise to be the twentyninth, ghața is the thirtieth9 (and) cakravāla is known as the thirty-first10.

The thirty-second is tripadī11 (and) sometimes satpadī; that bandhakaraņa has been said to be the thirty-third.

Pāṭakaraṇa 4 has been said to be the thirty-fourth12 (and) kaivāṭa has been said by the knowledgeable ones in the same, to be the thirty-fifth13.

Dvipadī is known by the good ones as being numbered thirty-six and that which is the thirty-seventh is accepted by the muni as vartanī.

Elā, elaborate with many varieties, is the thirty-eighth and similary, jhombada is one less than forty (thiry-nine).

After that dhvanikuţţanī should be known as the fortieth, dhenkī is one more (than forty) and ekatālikā is two more (forty-two).

Here itself the prabandha bearing the name mātṛkā is known to be three more (than forty), the prabandha (numbered) four above forty2 (forty- fourth), again, should be known by the knowledgeable ones in music, as this
